Data recovery
We distinguish logical recovery from a device that still works and physical faults that require a specialist laboratory. The priority is to limit further writes and explain the risk before any operation.
Situations we assess
An initial check helps decide whether logical recovery is reasonable.
- Files deleted by mistake while the device remains readable.
- Inaccessible folder, unstable system or interrupted transfer.
- Need to copy files to a working destination drive.
- Search for specific documents from a list supplied before work.
Important limits
A drive that clicks, is not detected or has a mechanical fault may require a specialist laboratory. We do not promise a result before assessment.
- Do not reinstall or write to the drive before diagnosis.
- Physically damaged media is handled through a specialist quotation.
- The result depends on the actual condition of the device and files.

Logical recovery starts at €79. Destination media, transport and any laboratory work are separate and confirmed in the quote.

Can I keep using the drive?
It is better to stop writing to it and request a diagnosis so the recovery chances are not reduced.
Do you recover physically damaged drives?
We assess the situation and refer to a laboratory when the fault goes beyond logical recovery.
Workshop and device collection
The main workshop is at my home in Villiers-sur-Marne, by appointment. As a student at Institut Polytechnique de Paris, I can also arrange collection and return of laptops, desktop PCs and PlayStation or Xbox consoles in the Palaiseau–IP Paris area. The meeting point and arrangements are agreed before collection. Next-day return may be possible depending on the work and parts availability; the timing is confirmed for each device.
