Laptop running hot
Disassembly, fans and heatsink cleaned, new thermal paste.
Less noise, less heat, more performance. We open it, clean the fans and heatsinks, replace the thermal paste and run a stress test.

Heatsink removedThe more dust builds up, the faster the fan spins to compensate, without managing to cool. Here, in orders of magnitude, is what happens when a laptop is never opened.
Orders of magnitude seen on ordinary laptops in daily use. Every device is different: the diagnosis tells you.

Full dust clean and new thermal paste.
Dust insulates the heatsink fins and slows the fan down; the thermal paste dries out and conducts heat less well. A service every 12 to 18 months keeps the device quiet and fast, and extends its life.

Every 12 to 18 months for a laptop, more often with pets, smoke or a lot of gaming. Fan noise is a good indicator.
A thin layer between the chip and the heatsink that carries the heat away. As it dries, it conducts less well: temperatures rise.
No: it pushes the dust deeper into the fins, can damage the fan bearing and doesn’t replace dried paste.
On a dusty laptop, gaining 15 to 30 °C under load is common. We give you the temperatures before and after.
