We start with the symptoms and the way the device is used.
- Slow start-up, freezes, Windows errors or instability.
- Overheating, loud fan, sudden shutdowns or reduced performance.
- Weak battery, unstable charging socket or suspicious power supply.
- SSD/RAM upgrades, keyboard, screen, fan, hinges and other parts to assess.
What the service includes
The checks are selected according to the reported problem.
- Temperature, storage, memory and power checks.
- System and driver checks when the issue appears to be software-related.
- Clear quote before any repair or part order.
- Start-up, stability and temperature tests after the work.
Price and conditions
The technical diagnosis is €29 and is deducted from labour if the quote is accepted. Parts and licences are listed separately.

How long does it take?
Timing is confirmed after diagnosis, depending on the model, fault and part availability.
Are my files accessed?
We only access what is needed for the requested checks. Any data operation is discussed before work.
Can I request diagnosis only?
Yes. You decide after the diagnosis whether to continue with a repair.
Workshop and device collection
The main workshop is at my home in Villiers-sur-Marne, by appointment. As a student at Institut Polytechnique de Paris, I can also arrange collection and return of laptops, desktop PCs and PlayStation or Xbox consoles in the Palaiseau–IP Paris area. The meeting point and arrangements are agreed before collection. Next-day return may be possible depending on the work and parts availability; the timing is confirmed for each device.
